Please be informed that the following changes in service fee, service and visiting area of
HSBC Direct Banking Specialist will be effective from 20 May, 2009.

I. HSBC Direct ATM fee at other bank’s ATM
[As is] KRW 600
[To be] KRW 1,000

II. HSBC Direct Banking Specialist visiting fee
[As is] KRW 40,000
[To be] KRW 15,000

III. SMS Service
Effective from 9 May 2009, SMS service will discontinue for those who are holding the account with
below KRW 1,000 monthly interest income.

IV. Service Area Update
* Effective from 20 May 2009, Incheon and Bucheon will be excluded from the visiting area of
HSBC Direct Banking Specialist. If you are the resident of  Incheon and Bucheon area, please visit the
HSBC Incheon branch for Personal Identity Verification and other services.
